Life sometimes brings unplanned circumstances our way that prevent Mass attendance and cause one to be homebound for a period of time. Perhaps you or a family member have suffered an injury, accident, received a medical diagnosis or are undergoing surgery and recovery. Or perhaps winter driving and age are slowing you down. Whatever the circumstance or need, the Tri-Parish Pastoral Council wants parishoners to know that you are not alone. You have a parish family that cares and is here for you. Communion and a friendly visit can be brought to you weekly at home by a lay communion minister. Father Vogel can schedule a time to visit you if you would like him to, and of course, we would love to pray for you.
To make it easier for parishoners to communicate such situations with the Tri-Parish and Father, each parish now has a Parish Contact Person. The following parishoners have graciously agreed to serve in this role:
St Joseph's - Connie Peters: 507-420-3406
St. Matthew's - Mary Lewis: 507-479-0993
St. Teresa's - Deanna Shanahan: 507-340-8006
Should you or a direct family member be experiencing such a circumstance and like home visits and/or prayer, please let your parish contact person know so arrangements can be made for any part of this outreach. Your information will be kept confidential.
